As a registered grower on BloomHub, you agree to comply with the following requirements to ensure a safe, trusted marketplace for all buyers and sellers.

Grower Requirements
All growers selling plant materials on BloomHub must adhere to the following requirements:
Healthy Plant Materials
Ship only clean, healthy, pest-free plant materials. All items must be free of visible disease, rot, mold, and pest infestations before shipping.
Required Permits & Certificates
Include any required permits or phytosanitary certificates with your shipments. Some states require additional documentation for certain plant types.
USDA & State Compliance
Comply with all USDA and state-level shipping laws. Research destination state requirements before shipping, especially to California, Hawaii, and Alaska.
Record Keeping
Keep organized records of all shipments and inspections. Maintain documentation of what was shipped, when, where, and any associated permits.
Detailed Compliance Requirements
1. Phytosanitary Certificates
Some states require phytosanitary certificates for incoming plant shipments. These official documents confirm that your shipment has been inspected and is free of regulated pests and diseases. States with strict requirements include:
• California – Strict rules regarding soil and untreated roots
• Hawaii & Alaska – Documentation required for nearly all plant imports
• Nevada, Maine, Wisconsin – May require Certificate of Origin
2. Plant Health Standards
All plant materials sold through BloomHub must meet the following health standards:
• Free of visible pests, eggs, or larvae
• No signs of fungal infection, rot, or mold
• Properly cleaned (bare roots and tubers must be soil-free)
• Appropriately packaged to maintain viability during shipping
• Accurately described in product listings
3. Shipping Requirements
When shipping plant materials, growers must:
• Use appropriate packaging to protect plants during transit
• Label packages with botanical and common names
• Include shipper and recipient information
• Affix any required permits or certificates to the exterior
• Ship early in the week to avoid weekend delays
• Use tracked shipping methods
4. Record Keeping
Growers must maintain records of all shipments for a minimum of two years. Records should include:
• Species and quantity shipped
• Date and destination of shipment
• Permit or license numbers included
• Packaging methods and any treatments used
• Buyer information and order details
Enforcement & Violations
Important Notice
Violations of this Grower Agreement may result in account suspension or permanent removal from the BloomHub platform. Repeated violations or serious breaches may be reported to relevant agricultural authorities.
BloomHub reserves the right to:
• Request proof of licensing or certification at any time
• Investigate complaints regarding plant health or shipping practices
• Permanently remove growers who violate this agreement
• Report violations to state or federal agricultural authorities
Agreement Acceptance
By registering as a grower on BloomHub and listing plant materials for sale, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to comply with all terms of this Grower Agreement. You also confirm that you will stay informed of any updates to federal, state, and local regulations regarding the sale and shipment of plant materials.
This agreement may be updated periodically. Continued use of the BloomHub platform constitutes acceptance of any modifications.
