BloomHub is a marketplace connecting independent sellers with buyers. Each seller sets their own return and refund policies. This page explains how refunds work on the platform.
Always check the seller's return policy on their store page before making a purchase. Policies vary by seller.
Seller Policies
Sellers on BloomHub determine their own refund and return policies. These may include:
• Time limits for reporting issues (typically 3-7 days from delivery)
• What qualifies for a refund (damage, incorrect item, etc.)
• Whether returns require photos or other documentation
• Who pays return shipping if applicable
By completing a purchase, you agree to the seller's stated policies.
When Refunds May Apply
Common situations where refunds may be appropriate:
• Item significantly different from listing description
• Item arrived damaged and was documented within seller's timeframe
• Order never arrived (with tracking showing non-delivery)
• Wrong item shipped
When Refunds Typically Don't Apply
Plant material is living and variable. Refunds are generally not available for:
• Plants that don't survive or grow after delivery (unless DOA and reported immediately)
• Minor cosmetic imperfections typical of live plants
• Change of mind or buyer's remorse
• Issues reported after the seller's stated timeframe
• Items affected by buyer's storage or handling
How to Request a Refund

Contact the Seller
Message the seller through BloomHub within their stated timeframe. Explain the issue and include photos if applicable.

Work Toward Resolution
Give the seller 2-3 business days to respond. Most sellers want to resolve issues and maintain their reputation.

Seller Processes Refund
If the seller agrees, they'll initiate a refund through BloomHub. You'll receive funds back to your original payment method.

Contact Support if Needed
If you can't reach a resolution with the seller, contact info@bloomhub.us with your order number and details.
Refund Processing
Once a seller issues a refund:
• Refunds are processed through Stripe
• Funds typically appear within 5-10 business days
• The exact timing depends on your bank or card issuer
• BloomHub's platform fee is also refunded on full refunds
Partial Refunds
Sellers may offer partial refunds in some situations, such as:
• Part of an order arrived damaged
• Minor issue that doesn't warrant full refund
• Mutual agreement between buyer and seller
Order Cancellations
If you need to cancel an order before it ships:
• Contact the seller immediately
• If the order hasn't been prepared/shipped, most sellers will accommodate
• Once shipped, cancellation is typically not possible
