Guidelines for Sellers
Product Listings
Use accurate photos of your actual inventory
Write honest descriptions including any flaws or variations
Clearly state variety names and origins when known
Price items fairly based on quality and market rates
Don't use stock photos or images from other sellers
Don't list items you don't have in stock
Don't misrepresent varieties or plant health
Fulfillment
Ship within your stated timeframe
Package plants carefully for transit
Provide tracking information promptly
Communicate delays proactively
Don't accept orders you can't fulfill
Communication
Respond to buyer messages within 2 business days
Handle complaints professionally
Be willing to resolve legitimate issues
Don't ignore or dismiss buyer concerns
Guidelines for Buyers
Read listings carefully before purchasing
Ask questions if anything is unclear
Inspect items promptly upon delivery
Contact sellers directly before requesting refunds
Leave honest, constructive reviews
Don't request refunds for items as described
Don't leave reviews based on growing failure (that's gardening)
Don't initiate chargebacks without first contacting the seller
Prohibited Content & Behavior
The following will result in account suspension:
• Selling prohibited plants (invasive species, illegal in your state)
• Fraud, scams, or intentional misrepresentation
• Harassment, threats, or abusive language
• Creating fake reviews or manipulating ratings
• Circumventing BloomHub to avoid fees
• Sharing others' personal information
• Spam or unsolicited commercial messages
• Any illegal activity
Enforcement
BloomHub reviews reports and may take action including:
• Warning for first-time minor violations
• Temporary suspension for repeated issues
• Listing removal for policy violations
• Permanent ban for serious or repeated violations
We review context and history when making decisions. Users can appeal through info@bloomhub.us.
Reporting Violations
If you see something that violates these guidelines, please report it. You can:
• Use the "Report" button on listings or profiles
• Email info@bloomhub.us with details
• Include screenshots or order numbers when possible
Reports are reviewed by our team. We take all reports seriously but cannot share investigation details due to privacy.
